Chai Latte Protein Shake

Sometimes my Husband thinks my food choices are not overly logical. I’d like to think my food choices make me happy and satisfy my current goals - and that is exactly what the Chai Latte Protein Shake is doing for me now!

Ingredients

  • Chai Latte Concentrate OR homemade chai (Just Say When, Tazo)

  • Milk of choice (I’m on an oat milk kick, but this can be done with any of them)

  • Chocolate protein powder (Currently using Whey)

  • Ice or extra water (hot or cold) if needed

Steps

  1. Take your favorite mug (travel or otherwise) or glass

  2. Fill 1/3 of it with Tazo Chai Concentrate

  3. Match Chai volume with Milk 1:1 (The carton says 1/2 chai and 1/2 milk - that is what we are doing)

  4. Add protein powder and shake or froth to incorporate

  5. Drink and enjoy!

Benefits:

  1. Helps add protein if you currently have a goal you are struggling to meet with whole food alone

  2. The Concentrate reduces prep time yet still delivers some of the benefits of chai

  3. It can be done hot or cold

  4. It can make you happy if you like chai

Reminders:

  • Don’t let others judge your food choices.

  • Make choices that make you happy and also help you with your goals

  • If something makes you happy, it may help someone else feel happy - so why not share some of that happiness!

  • My Husband if supportive and my comment above is more to poke fun then throw him under the bus. I just tend to be a bit more adventurous when it comes to food combinations and that suits us just fine!
