Introductions Are in Order!

When starting a blog, even if to use infrequently, it is probably best to start by introducing oneself!

So Hello!

My name is Paige and I find it incredibly hard to write about myself (which is not a good trait to have as a businessperson who needs to market themselves), but I want to be able to share with you who I am so that if you connect with it, maybe we can connect in my office? Since that is the goal isn’t? To connect so I can help people, whether that be for those of enough brave enough to come in or for those that will continue to stalk me on the internet. Here’s hoping the following gives you that sense of connection!

So, my name is Paige and I am a Naturopathic Doctor (primarily) in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia. I grew up in Hammonds Plains and have got to see this community grow from when you could cruise 80 Km/h on the Kearney Lake Road toward the city to the seemingly endless developments now popping up. That is not to say I’m against change! We need change, it is just sometimes hard to do or to accept – although I suppose the biggest complaint is the traffic!

All of these things help define who I am but certainly can’t be taken alone. The same way I look at myself as a collection of a whole bunch of different things, I also look at patients this way. No one is one thing. Everyone has different faces, masks the put forward, passions, disinterests and goals.

It is the collection that makes someone unique and strong. I have always liked puzzles and I suppose a puzzle is a collection of pieces – both to solve and to treasure!

I feel like I am getting poetic and so I will come to a close. I am sure I will share more of myself here as I speak more to the pieces that create me and my philosophy or care.
